February Workshop and Q&A

Here comes the February Second Saturday Series!

Celebrating Valentine's Day, the theme of the month is "Dating and Relationship" and possibly other taboo-topics that we generally avoid. Naturally, to attend this meetup, you may need to keep your minds and views open. You must be over 21 years old.

This meetup will also get you ready for the Language Exchange later this month (pending). So please come join us!

We will have informal workshops and Q & A session in which you get to ask pretty much any question you've been wanting to ask a Korean, from pronunciation to culture to something you weren't quite sure whom to ask. As always, we will have a mixer to get to know each other during and/or after the workshop.

As always, your RSVP is strongly recommended. So please read the instruction below thoroughly. Thank you!

* 한국어 원어민이세요? 특별히 부탁의 말씀이 있으니 꼭 읽어주세요. 감사합니다.

This is where we met last time.  For February meetup,
we have two venues we will choose from.
Saturday, Febuary 11, 2012
See the schedule below.

WHERE
Koreatown, Los Angeles, CA, USA
Please RSVP and address will be emailed to you by 6 am on the day of the event.

WHAT
We will learn and talk about:
  1. Greetings and Breaking Ice (Beginner/Novice)
  2. Making Suggestions and Requests (Intermediate & Higher), and/or;
  3. Cheesy pick-up lines translated into Korean (all levels)

  • understand a little bit about Korean dating/relationship culture

You're welcome to attend both workshops. Beginners, you're welcome to stay for the intermediate if you are up for the challenge. Just remember it is an intermediate class, and it will be conducted in Korean language. Intermediate students, please feel free to attend beginners workshops. You will have a chance to brush up your basics, which never goes out of style.

So bring your own questions! Q & A session is as interesting and fun as you make it! You will hear individual opinions and views from native Koreans present at the mixer. (But they don't represent KLCX/KoreanLA's view.)
